Step 3 — Assign PLU Numbers to Items

Each item that will be weighed on the scale needs a PLU number. This is how the scale barcode tells PH POS which product it is.

Navigate to: ERPNext → Items → [Open the item]

Scroll to the Scale PLU field and enter a number between 1 and 99,999. This number must match the PLU you will programme into the scale for that same item.

Every item must have a unique PLU number — no two items can share the same one.
