Step 1 — Set the Scale Barcode Prefix

Navigate to: PH POS Workspace → PH Settings → Scale Settings

There is a field called Scale Accepted Prefixes. This tells PH POS which barcodes came from the scale (scale barcodes always start with a specific digit, usually 2).

Leave the default value of 2 unless your scale prints labels starting with a different digit. If you are unsure, check the labels your scale prints — the first digit of the barcode is the prefix.
