A Work Order is a document given to the manufacturing shop floor by the Production Planner as a signal to manufacture a certain quantity of a certain Item.
From the BOM created a WORK ORDER can be created against it as shown below
Click on work order and enter the quantity to be manufactured
A new work order will be created automatically as show below
Under operations add the various workstations and save
After saving and submitting Job cards will be created automatically.
Click on the start button and start the work order as shown below
After starting a stock entry will be initiated as shown below
Save & Submit it
